Congratulations to Mrs. Hawkins and Mrs. Marquardt
CONGRATULATIONS to our very own wonderful Mrs. Hawkins and Mrs. Marquardt for receiving the much-deserved 2022 Appleton Education Association’s Friend of Education Award.
Both recently retired, Mrs. Hawkins (former unit director of the Boys and Club at Badger) and Mrs. Marquardt (former educational paraprofessional at Badger) continue to volunteer at Badger Elementary School supporting both staff and students.
Mrs. Hawkins and Mrs. Marquardt spend their time and money running the Badger Bulldog Boutique where students can purchase items with their Badger Bucks they have earned for positive behavior.
In addition, Mrs. Hawkins continues to help and support the Boys and Girls Club program and Mrs. Marquardt sews and creates student costumes for the Badger Musical each year.
