Thank you to all families, parents, students, and staff members who participated in the annual Badger Turkey Trot and Canned Food Drive Challenge.
Badger School collected a total of 931 canned food items. Most of the food will be sent downtown to the Salvation Army and a few boxes will stay here at Badger to fill up our Blessing Box in front of school.
Here are the grade-level class totals:
1st Place: Third Grade (267 cans)
2nd Place: Kindergarten (175 cans)
3rd Place: Second Grade (127 cans)
4th Place: Fifth Grade (120 cans)
5th Place: Fourth Grade (110 cans)
6th Place: First Grade (88 cans)
7th Place: Sixth Grade (44 cans)
Two lucky students from each grade also received a free frozen turkey to take home!
