Anne Marie Werley Gonzalez

Anne Marie Werley-Gonzalez was born and raised in the Fox Valley, attended Menasha High School, and graduated from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN in 2005. She  earned her Masters’ Degree in Education Leadership from UW-Madison (Go Badgers!) and her Masters’ Degree in Urban Education from Cardinal Stritch.

Anne Marie taught in Milwaukee Public Schools from 2009-2014 and served as an Instructional Coach in the School District of Waukesha from 2014-2019. She loves building strong relationships with students and their families and is passionate about supporting educators, ensuring equitable learning experiences and outcomes for all students, and serving students who are English Learners.

Anne Marie’s two daughters keep her relatively busy with bike rides, trips to the library, and answering “why” questions. When she is not engaged in mom life, she enjoys traveling, reading, and practicing yoga. She has lived on three of the seven continents and aspires to visit the remaining four within her lifetime.

She spends a lot of time at Badger. Come say hi!
